Colorado Welcomes “Changing Lanes: Road Maps to Midlife Renewal”

Sunday, February 17, 2008

Colorado is the latest stop on the national promotional tour celebrating the publication of Changing Lanes: Road Maps to Midlife Renewal (176 pp., Radom Press, $19.95).

In the popular mountain resort of Steamboat Springs, home to Changing Lanes co-author Susan Marshall, local independent bookstore Off the Beaten Path hosted a Feb. 17 event featuring four local residents whose inspiring stories of midlife renewal appear in the book.

The event, which welcomed attendees with the ambience of a hometown party, drew a lively crowd of locals, friends and vacationing tourists to meet Marshall and co-author Jane Jelenko—the pioneering businesswomen and midlife “change artists” behind the acclaimed book. The authors signed books and spoke about the unique challenges of merging into midlife.

Roberta Geier, one of the local residents featured in Changing Lanes, noted, “It was great to see Susan’s and Jane’s efforts celebrated by our close-knit community. People were buying multiple copies to give as gifts to family and friends.”

Upcoming Changing Lanes events include readings, signings and speaking engagements in Los Angeles, New York and New Jersey.
